Live streaming bij KPN
Sinds begin deze week biedt KPN in Nederland live TV kijken
aan via iPhone. Enkele maanden geleden
startten ze het aanbod al voor tablet PC’s en binnenkort volgt ook een Android
versie voor smartphones. KPN biedt de 20
meest populaire zenders aan en naast toegang tot de EPG kan je ook je
videotheek thuis bladeren en onderweg programma’s plannen en opnemen. Het live TV kijken werkt echter enkel via een
KPN verbinding. Dit aanbod is vergelijkbaar met TV Overal van Belgacom en Yelo
van Telenet.
TV Nomade van RTBF
Gisteren (woensdag 1 aug) lanceerde RTBF een nieuwe app ‘TV Nomade’, een andere
naam voor de app ‘Rumble’ van Triple IT waarmee je livestream TV kan kijken én dankzij
timeshifting heb je ook de mogelijkheid om een paar minuten of zelfs een paar
uur terug in de tijd te gaan. RTBF (3
zenders: La Une, La Deux en La Trois) laat toe om programma’s toe 24u terug te herbekijken. Dit is een belangrijk issue in het VOD verhaal!
Daarnaast hebben ze de tegenwoordige obligate
social features toegevoegd.
Als je de app opstart wordt onmiddellijk de optie aangeboden
om een maandabonnement te nemen waarbij je toegang krijgt tot alle RTBF video
content. Opgelet want het
maandabonnement (€ 2,99) wordt automatisch vernieuwd!
